The Campaign provides expertise in building funding, masterplanning, and community engagement. NFC's mission is to build healthy communities with the goal of bringing a Fitness Court® within a 10-minute bike ride of every American.

Campaign Successes
Mission, TX
The first official Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas Fitness Court® launched in Mission in September 2022 at Hollis Rutledge Northwest Park. A champion for health, wellness and equity in Hidalgo County, the City of Mission’s launch event included Special Olympics Texas athletes to demonstrate the seven movement stations for any fitness level.
Hartselle, AL
Making Hartselle bigger, better, and healthier – that’s Mayor Randy Garrison’s pledge. In August 2022, Hartselle was excited to bring free, equitable outdoor fitness to Sparkman Park thanks to the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama campaign. The Fitness Court® at Sparkman Park adds to the rich amenities including sports fields, an aquatic center, a splash pad, an accessible playground, two 18-hole disc golf courses, and a 4.5-acre pond.
Grand Rapids, MI
The Priority Health Fitness Court® in Grand Rapids launched in August 2022 as a community showcase that garnered media attention with interviews from Mayor Rosalynn Bliss and Priority Health CEO Praveen Thadani. This location will provide 58,000 Grand Rapids residents access to walk or bike to the Ottawa Park Fitness Court®.
Lewiston, ME
The City of Lewiston, Maine’s second largest city, welcomed the state’s first Fitness Court® in September 2022, just blocks away from Community Health Options’ headquarters. The picturesque backdrop of the Androscoggin River that accompanies Simard-Payne Park is a perfect location for The Fitness Court®, creating a space to promote social interaction, pedestrian movement and healthy living.
