(Claysburg, PA,- June 15th, 2026) -Greenfield Township and National Fitness Campaign (NFC), today announced a partnership to bring an outdoor Fitness Court and digital wellness programming to Greenfield Township. The Fitness Court, located at the Claysburg Community Park (122 Community Park Rd. Claysburg, Pa 16625), will open June 18th at 12:00 pm with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
This Fitness Court was developed by NFC to expand free access to high-quality workouts and create equitable access to exercise for communities across the region. The Fitness CourtR is the world's best outdoor gym that lets users leverage their own body weight to get a complete workout using seven exercise stations.
Created for adults of all abilities aged 14+, the Fitness Court workouts are adaptable for all fitness levels, allowing participants to move at their own pace. Users also may download the free Fitness Court App which acts as a coach-in-your-pocket and enhances the outdoor gym into a digitally supported wellness experience. Greenfield Township is one of the first Campaign Partners building a network of Fitness Courts across the region.
"We are enthusiastic to include the addition of the Fitness Court to our amenities at the Claysburg Community Park. This year we have also paved three of our shale parking lots and re paved a portion of our walking track. It is our goal to have something at our park for everyone. This Fitness Court really appealed to us, because of the low maintenance, small footprint, and the age ranges of people who can use it. We were also looking for something new.
