Partnership seeks applications from municipalities and schools across Santa Clara County, CA
(SANTA CLARA, CALIFORNIA – APRIL 29, 2026) El Camino Health and National Fitness Campaign (NFC) today announced a partnership to build healthy communities across Santa Clara County by collaborating to help fund Healthy Infrastructure, featuring outdoor Fitness Courts® to communities across the region.
Municipalities, schools or any organization with accessible public space are encouraged to apply for grant funding to assist in building Fitness Courts® ,with matching funding provided by El Camino Health and National Fitness Campaign.
Digitally activated Fitness Courts add a new dimension of strength training and full body movement to active communities, making free workouts accessible to neighborhoods across the county.
When a city or a school adds Fitness Courts to their trail and park systems the result is a comprehensive wellness system that encourages more people to engage in healthy outdoor activities, resulting in better health and happiness

Created for adults of all abilities aged 14+, the Fitness Court® workouts are adaptable for all fitness levels, allowing participants to move at their own pace. Users also may download the free Fitness Court® App which acts as a coach-in-your-pocket and enhances the outdoor gym into a digitally supported wellness experience.
Application Process Now Open to Bring a Fitness Court® to Your Community
Grant recipients will receive a wellness toolkit, education, and design resources to assist in planning, funding and launching their outdoor Fitness Courts® and wellness initiatives.
